Matt Frymire
Chief Information Officer
Matt Frymire was appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the County of Riverside
in March of 2004. Prior to that he was the County's Chief Technology Officer (CTO),
where he was responsible for the daily operations of the Riverside County Information
Technology (RCIT). From January 2000 through September 2002, he directed the implementation
of the County's PeopleSoft ERP system. Prior positions he has held include; the Chief of
the Data Network Division which managed the County's data networks and distributed
processing initiatives, and the Data and Telephone Engineering Manager responsible
for data and telephone network initiatives, including the replacement of the County's
telephone infrastructure in late 1980's and early 1990's. Prior to his service with the
County, Mr. Frymire worked as a communications consultant to the U.S. Navy, and worked
in various operational roles in private industry.

Greg Stoddard
Chief Technology Officer
Greg Stoddard is the Chief Technology Officer for the County of Riverside Information
Technology Department (RCIT). Greg's primary responsibilities are to plan, direct,
organize, and coordinate activities and priorities with RCIT Managers for the
Communications, Applications and Systems/Operations Bureaus. Greg manages and directs
the corporate technology infrastructure that is supported by RCIT. This includes
technology deployments, network and systems management, integration testing, development
of technical competencies for RCIT personnel and management of client relations through
service level agreements to ensure that service objective expectations are developed and
attained. Greg participates in departmental strategic and organizational planning
processes on behalf of the County's technology enterprise systems. Prior to his current
appointment in July 2004, Greg served as the Deputy Chief Information Officer for the
RCIT Communications Bureau for 2 years and as the Information Technology Officer for the
Client Services Division for 3 years. Greg has been with the County of Riverside
Information Technology Department since August of 1980, beginning his career as a
Programming Intern while going to the University of California - Riverside, where he
later received his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science in 1983. Since receiving his
degree he has served the County in a number of capacities, including application
development and support, business systems analysis, data communications and management.
